OUR SUSTAINABILITY
We produce t-shirts made with respect for both people and the planet. Our goal is to create high quality t-shirts in the most responsible and ethical way – so we integrate sustainability into everything we do, making conscious decisions about who we work with, how we work and what materials we use.
The organic cotton we use on our t-shirts is sourced from and certified by various independent bodies and standards, such as GOTS, GRS, Oeko-Tex, OCS and PETA.
Our suppliers use only the best raw materials, grown or produced in ways that do not harm people, animals or the environment. They exclusively use 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton from India.
We use organic cotton, as opposed to conventional cotton, because it's grown without the use of chemical insecticides, fertilisers or pesticides. This means that no hazardous or toxic substances are incorporated into the soil or adjoining rivers or lakes, which ensures a safe environment for farmers and their families.
We are working towards implementing GOTS-certified printing techniques which use non-harmful inks and sustainable production methods – so that we can affirm that our finalised, decorated pieces are 100% sustainable.
All our packing —such as our mailing boxes, tissue paper and stickers— is 100% recycled, recyclable and compostable.
We choose to not have back neck labels – it's an unnecessary addition. So we print our logo and size into the back of the t-shirt. There is no need for a swing tag! Don't think this is laziness on our part – it's so as not to use unnecessary paper!
We’re transparent about our suppliers, manufacturers and processes – so we’re open to questions about our supply chain and our methods, and we value suggestions on how to improve.
